Helped by long-range weapons supplies, Ukrainian forces have restored territories in the southern Kherson over the past few weeks, adding rumours that their troops are carrying out the recently promised counterattacks.
The country's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, unveiled claims of a successful counterattack during his address Sunday, saying Ukrainian forces are moving step-by-step towards the city, writes The Guardian.
Kherson had been occupied by the Russian Army on March 3rd, becoming the first major city captured by Russian forces since 24th. /Periscopi/
