Turkish authorities have halted Krenaria's events across the country for security reasons, but about 50 people wearing rainbow flags marched towards a park in the city on Tuesday.
Police officers stopped the group and arrested at least 30 people, according to organisers. Some of those arrested were forced to lie on the ground, while police allegedly used tear gas and spray.
A anti-demonstrate was also held close by a religious group, which considers the LGBTQ+ community a threat, writes Euronew, broadcasts Klan Kosova.tv.
Turkey had earlier allowed the hold of the Crenaria marches, with the first to be held in 2003, a year after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his AK party came to power.
