Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has held the Kosovo Security Council meeting today to discuss the security situation in the country and to co-ordinate inter-institutional activities in the function of implementing legitimacy and rule of law throughout the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the media announcement by the prime minister's office it has become known that deadlines for covering Serbian state symbols and appointments have been extended until October.
The implementation of the Government's decision on June 29th decision to start converting plates to the official ones of the Republic of Kosovo, and to the provisional paper-laundering border crossing that replaces personal identification documents from Serbia, as extended deadlines for covering Serbian symbols and state appointments, for vehicles entering our territory. The deadline, which is extended until October 31st 2022”, is reported.
It further points out that our institutions have already developed all technical and administrative procedures for implementing these decisions, and in this direction we assure our citizens that the possibility of replacing illegal license plates, as well as the transfer of citizens to border crossings, will proceed quickly, without obstacles and in quick real time.
The Kosovo Government's decision is in place of security, the establishment of public order and the legality of rule of law. Therefore, the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo remain committed and united to respond to any security situation, always in close co-ordination and co-operation with our strategic partners, said the report.
