Surroi launches campaign in Croatia for the position of RCC Secretary: Martin Berishaaj awaits

The renowned publicist Veton Surroi is staying in Croatia, while hosting the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in Zagreb, by Minister Gordan Grliq.

Under his stay in Croatia, it becomes known that Veton Surroi has launched his campaign for candidacy in the position of secretary-general of the Regional Co-operation Council.

Croatia's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in Zagreb, Minister Gordan Grliq Radman, with advisers, hosted Mr. Veton Surroi and Kosovo Ambassador to Croatia Dr. Martin Berishaaj, regarding Mr. Veton Surroi for the position of Secretary General in the RCC.

Minister Gliq Radman expressed high considerations for the Government and the state of Kosovo on European and Adriatic routes, focusing on the successes the Government of Kosovo has achieved in the fight against corruption, the establishment of law and commitment to dialogue with Serbia, aimed at mutual recognition between the two states.

Veton Surroi unveiled his idea regarding the candidacy for the position of secretary-general in the RCC, as well as for Kosovo's strong interest in being a constructive factor in this organisation, for which, Minister Grliq Radman expressed support in principle.

At the meeting, which was extremely friendly, the Croatian side expressed interest in Mr. Veton Surroi, by agreeing to the approach he applied to the political processes in the region and the wider”.
