The leader of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, in a statement to the media has indicated that tomorrow's day in Parliament will be presented the resolution against Dick Marty's report, a report allegedly the KLA has committed crimes against humanity.
Balla has said the Socialist Party has initiated it on the basis of the principle that everything must be investigated.
Taulant Balla: We propose this resolution on the basis of the principle that everything must be investigated. We are dealing with one case when corresponding verifications have been carried out and we are in terms of institutionalizing the facts and after that moment a new report and resolution, reviewing those claims that are no longer there. It's in every member's honor to be in the Assembly Hall tomorrow. Tomorrow should be a solemn moment in which the importance of removing an unfairly cast mud against the Kosovo Liberation War. Tomorrow you will be familiar with all our positions for the war in Kosovo.
I think the resolution document is a principle document, getting to this document has been looking for months of work and I think the document has it in it and this part. It is an attitude of Albania and all Albanians. Attempting to denigrate the Liberation War in Kosovo is the essential object of this resolution. This is the right position Albania has to take today. I thank Kosovo's deputies, I want to tell you that they have been several months of contact, thank you and the Kosovo media for a look at this document.
During his speech, Balla has said the next goal is Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
Taulant Balla: We with the Kosovo Parliament deputies are in daily contact. This legislature will be remembered as co-operation with Kosovo MPs has reached the best possible level in many years. We have nearly an important document of a partnership memorandum. In November of this year, we will have a plenary session of the function of our two institutions. Co-operation with the Kosovo Parliament is excellent. Our next goal is to membership Kosovo in the Council of Europe. We're in the phase of reaching consensus. /tema/
