Rama's progress opens Shpend Ahmeti's wallet

Pristina's Londonn Chairman for Progress Rama is taking steps of his predecessor, Shpend Ahmeti. All the money for capital investments is left in his wallet, like the first day he's taken power, writes Periscope. Rama, may have on his head all sorts of ideas of projects to live in the capital, but none of them can be implemented unless it is in the 2022 budget. And all the projects that exist in this budget are designed by Shpend Ahmeti, because the budget was approved by the end of 2021. Just before Rama took over.
So this year's approved budget is the document that needs to be implemented on the ground, and any project can only be changed by budget review, which has not yet been made.
Facts on paper show that Rama expected to overdo most of the planned budget for capital investments.
Periscopi has seen six financial reports of the Pristina municipality from January 1st to June 30th, and is seen as a minority investment in capital investments. So for six months from the category of capital investments, only 1 million and 494 thousand euros have been spent. In this category for the entire year, Pristina has a budget worth over 31m euros. Practically, at least 30 percent would have to be spent, since these types of investments become more in the latter part of the year.
The municipal budget is made up of several categories of expenditures, such as salaries, goods and services, municipal spending, subsidies and capital investments. The entire budget is worth 90. 6 million euros. According to estimates Periscopi has made, it turns out that the municipality for six months out of all those categories, where most have received salaries, the spent budget is worth 27, 413, 003 euros.
As Periscope has seen, even those few tools spent by the capital investment category are for some investments of past years, because this year's is not yet under way.
Some of the projects that happened in this year's budget are: Rotate “Greedy” The new city market (Old Carshia, continuation of the project, continuation of the tendered project in 2021), 1m euros; The “Agim Ramadani” (Resistance of the tendered project in 2021), 200 thousand euros; The “A” collector and the road, 800 thousand euros; etc.
Former Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti has been charged several times with budget surplus, from which millions of euros have been delivered year-on-year. /Periscopi/
