During his visit to the Netherlands Rama has also held a conversation at the “De Balie” centre, where he spoke about his life, his career as a politician, but also as an artist. The focus was on Albania's integration.
Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke of Albania's membership process in the European Union, as well as recent developments in this regard.
I think negotiations should have been opened for many years, maybe next year, but we won't get any sleep on this, we. We were left organizing weddings, large music weddings. We expected the bride from Brussels to come, but 1 year 2 years never came. If he comes to marry us without music and immediately to bed and have children, let him come. I say it's funny, but imagine yourself when you really want to get married but it never shows up” Rama said.
On the agenda of Prime Minister Rama in the Netherlands, several important meetings have been envisioned, which will be closed with his meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte with counterpart.
The meeting is scheduled around 6:30. At 18:55 a press conference is scheduled to take place.
The topics expected to discuss; co-operation between the Netherlands and Albania, war in Ukraine and the issue of European relations with the Western Balkans. The visit will be closed with a dinner.
