During the time police were carrying out the operation in Prizren's Shkoza, a person has attempted to hit police officials by car.
He has been arrested for assault on the official person and sent into custody, with items removed from other suspects involved in smuggling with immigrants, police have reported.

Police investigators from the Border Department, since March 2022, have begun investigating the suspicion that some persons have been involved in smuggling with immigrants. The number of suspected persons involved in the investigation has been huge. They are suspected that immigrants (mainly Asian) have infiltrated them illegally from Albania, passing them to the northern part of Kosovo, and the goal of the arrival of migrants were Western states.
In 14.07.22 investigators from the Investigation Sector have arrested suspect M.A., Syrian citizens who have stayed in Kosovo by organising smuggling. In the course of 30.07.2022, border police have finalised the police operation coded “Shkoza”
In 30.07.2022, while developing and over smuggling next, after taking command from the Pristina Foundation Court, police checks begin in the village of Shkoza in Prizren at three locations. In one of the locations a suspect is trying to hit police officials by car. He has been arrested for assault on the official person and sent into custody, to him the subject was isolated from other suspects involved in smuggling with immigrants.
During the police operation, sixteen suspects have been arrested for involvement in smuggling with immigrants, as well as one for illegal possession.
Four firearms, ninety-five rounds of bullets, three buses, two cars, two radio connections and seventeen mobile phones have been seized.
After interviewing the eighteen suspects addressed in this police operation, with the prosecutor's decision to seven of the suspects being sent to maintenance, while a regular procedure continues.
