Kurte warns a new measure of electricity

Speaking in the country about the energy situation and the warning of a new crisis, Kurti said that through subvention of some consumers, they aim to reduce the cost of electricity.

The ministry is also preparing a measure for energy efficiency for home consumers. Through subsidies, consumers will be helped to reduce electricity costs. The biggest aid will focus on social scheme cases and on cases that are in need, but are involved in social scheme”, he said.

Kurti said that currently, at the “Kosovo B” thermal power plant, generation capacities are in return. He said this is how they are preparing for the winter season.
“The power plant generation plants during the summer season are in regular remont to us. One Kosovo bloc B is in regular remont and is expected to end this month, while the other Kosovo B bloc will enter the Remont during August and will last about 25 days”, he said.

Kurti said there will be regular remonts outside the winter even at the “Kosovo A” thermal power plant.
