While reporting to the Commission for Health and Social Goodness, Krasniqi has said that with large percentages they have managed to realise the work plan, divided into 50 activities and eight targets.
We've had concrete plans, with 8 objectives and 50 activities. 33 activities have been accomplished. Somewhere 85 percent of us have accomplished the work plan. We specifically paid attention to investment and the advancement of services. The main challenge concerns staff, that since 2019, even in the budgetary circuit, the number allowed to be employed at SKKUK is 7430 health workers. We have operationalized the pediatric hospital. As far as doctors get out of emergencies, we have information that we have specialists and we see if we have free countries we have competitions. We've established a new clinic with the same number of staff. Patients should be facilitated access to” services, Krasniqi said.
In addition, Krasniqi said the lack of the Procureing Organisation Board has caused trouble for drug supply.
I've asked for analysis and I expect within this week to initiate procedures for contracting a company not to repeat the flood in the clinic. We will make solutions through any company that handles these issues. We also have reports on the number of patients. We take these requirements and analyze them and return them for investments. By July 2020, the focus has been the management of pandemic. There are no fewer drugs but more. The main challenges have been the lack of Procuring Organisation, because there are over 300 types of drugs”, Krasniqi said further.
PDK MP Florete Zejrullahu said the situation in health is serious and, as a result of not raising salaries, doctors are leaving Kosovo.
“Today the SKKUK offers less services, doctors are leaving Kosovo. The head of the clinics has asked questions if you are aware. 7 anesthesiologists have released their job or is the result of no salary growth. How much money is spent on machine”, she said.
