This citizen has told Kosovo Press that the fire has begun to spread even towards the village of Vidimrich.
It is not known yet if there are any injuries from this fire.
It is learned that during the day fire has broken out even in the mountains of the village of Crnush, as a result of the high temperatures that are ruling in the country.
Kosova Prees has tried to contact the police spokesman for the northern region, but without success, while the emergency centre has announced that the fire crews are on the ground and are in the organisation of assistance for sending other teams to the necessary locations.
According to the official of this centre, the situation in areas around Mitrovica is under control.
