Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Hayrlla Ceku has spoken about it at a media conference, which warned that Serbia will be prosecuted.
“again have destructive behaviour from the state of Serbia. This is a serious violation of the rights of our athletes and the violation of all international sports conventions. Serbia continues with destructivity, and for that we are announcing all relevant European instances. Our sports organisations will proceed with legal action in relevant international institutions. To this point, the Federation of Pingpong of Kosovo has handed over indictments to the Disciplinary Commission of the European Federation of Pingpong. This is the first step, but we are in co-ordination with the relevant federation as well as the Kosovo Olympic Committee so that our legal battle with Serbia will continue in the other international instances”.
Ceku said Serbia has turned into a genocideist in relation to violating the rights of Kosovo athletes.
This is the first time our athletes have been denied the right to participate in the” international championships.
According to the Kosovo Olympic Committee, this has happened because, as he said, the mix of Serbia's politics in sports.
