The “Brandl” has existed since 1880. It is located on the first floor of Gmunden City Hall. “Caffe Brandl” is one of the oldest cafes in the old town of Gmunden. Because of its precious history, it is also called the legendary “mafia”.

Three years ago, Erich Wimmer took over this restaurant and turned it into a café, where people can have pleasant times and a good atmosphere, while at evening, especially on weekends, the café becomes a successful mix of grass, club and disco. After 30 years in management, Wimmer was looking for a successor to take over this traditional location. And he found it.
