Eight killed in eastern Ukraine within 24 hours

At least eight people were killed in the Donnetsk region of eastern Ukraine on Thursday, with about 19 injured in the attacks.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the region's governor, said the deaths were reported yesterday in Bakhmut, Toretsk, Orlivka, Hirnyk and Soledar.

It is impossible to determine the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volovas. All Russians will be responsible for their crimes on our land”, he said.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the missiles hit Ukraine's Dnepropetrovsk region during the night.

About 40 rockets were reportedly fired in a residential area in the region, destroying six houses and several commercial buildings.
