(4 years ago)The U.S. State Department has suggested that two Americans died in the eastern region of Donbas, Ukraine. “We can confirm the deaths of two American citizens in Ukraine's Donba region. We are in contact with families and offer all possible consular assistance”, a State Department spokesman said. [...]
“We can confirm the deaths of two American citizens in Ukraine's Donba region. We are in contact with families and offer all possible consular assistance”, a State Department spokesman said.
The State Department said it would not provide further information “for respect to families during this difficult time”.
At least two other Americans have been killed since Russian troops invaded Ukraine in February.
