The retired British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, in a military uniform, has gone to where thousands of Ukrainian troops are being trained by British soldiers.
While Johnson is at the end of his post as prime minister following his resignation, he is continuing his support of Ukraine
. This week I visited Ukrainian troops training from the British Armed Forces in North Yorkshire. The United Kingdom has pledged to do everything to help Ukraine continue to repel Russian aggression”, Johnson wrote on Twitter.
British forces have begun training Ukrainian soldiers in a new programme to help in their fight against Russia.
Up to 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers are set to arrive in the United Kingdom for specialised military training that will last several weeks.
