Even though the price of two shezlong tents had been lowered to 700 new coins, they were empty again, says Mehmet.

According to the journalist, rising prices and opening the country after the pandemic have an impact on emptying the beaches, but he expresses conviction that after July 15th, tourists will be more.

These pictures were taken in Yal just a day ago where umbrella prices were lowered to only 700 new ones with two zezlons. Have you ever seen one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania this desert? So does Himarca or Saranda. War and prices do their job, but expectations should not be both last year and year for some reason. Last year, unlike many other countries that closed because of the pandemic, Albania was open to Albanians as well as to many Balkan countries and beyond. This led to an enormous influx of tourists from these countries, turning Albania into a top tourist destination for two years.

The opening and other places led many Albanians, Balkans and so on, to go to places they couldn't go during the pandemic. Of course, prices have their impact as a result of the war and increase of any product, but I have never heard prices of 250 euros. The last few days have suggested to guests rooms of 40,50 or 60 euros in Rangomare or Radhim in very qualitative hotels, but that 250 in this period I didn't see anywhere (even the Marina Bay, which is one of the most luxurious ones at this time).

However, after July 15th, I think tourists will be numerous mostly Italians, who, according to information from travel companies, will continue until mid-September. What needs to be done is for this year to be a lesson for years to come, in order to build strategies and attractions for tourists from June or July to choose southern areas.
