Speaking ahead of the signing of the agreement, Erdogan said the agreement would facilitate world inflation and that implementation of the agreement would be monitored by a common centre in Istanbul.
The Turkish leader urged Ukraine and Russia to end the war, saying it affects not only those involved, but the whole world. He said the war should end at the negotiating table.
On the other hand, he praised the positionive atmosphere Turkey has been trying to bring during negotiations and for this agreement to be a turning point.
“We are proud to have been part of an initiative that will have a big role in choosing the global food crisis that has been on the agenda since the long time since”, he said. /Periscopi/
