Finance Minister Iron Murati, at the government meeting, said the preset amount for health staff support is 5.5 million.
Initial support has been envisioned to continue until June, but with the return of numbers and change of situation, we consider that support should continue for the health staff, support that has been 10 per cent on the base wage because we consider it necessary to have motivated staff in the fight against COVID-19. In this regard, the money is to allocate resources to the amount of 5.5m euros under the Economic Resurrection Program. Taking into account the need for health staff support, I invite you to vote on this <x0 decision proposal, Murati said.
The government cabinet overwhelmingly approved the MF's draft decision.
