The cyberattack in Albania, including the FBI.

” A deepening investigation is under way, not only by Microsoft DART (the cyber security team), but also by our responsible bodies that are working closely with the FBI”, Karcanaj said.
For its part, Deputy Prime Minister Balluk spoke of “a very important contribution the FBI has made”, writes the Voice of America.
Earlier in a Twitter post, after meeting with Mrs. Balluk, the US ambassador wrote that the <x0-seconds from various agencies are supporting Albania's efforts to conduct a full scientific and technical analysis (fornical); the rise in cyber security to protect government and citizens; and to prevent a repeat”.
The deputy prime minister, in turn, said the “attack has undoubtedly disturbed even partners, as Albania has been targeted and this attack has created a series of problems”.
The AKSHI director stated that of the 1225 electronic services offered through the “-albania system”, only 23 of them are not yet functional.
The only services that are still being worked on are the assessment of diplomas and certificates issued by foreign institutions, the confirmation of economic assistance, the payment of limited capacity, the demand to benefit from social housing programs, the ticket of grades and the confirmation of diplomas for students who have attended the University of Tirana, the carrying out of water and electricity payments, and the services related to them”, Karcanaj explained.
According to her, the <x0 types of attack were two: Ransomware and ZeroCleare Wipeout. The first malicious activity started first in the form of a Ransomware attack, but in a concrete case it wasn't, it was a typical Ransomware in, to draw attention from the real objective of the attack that was actually the removal of all critical government systems along with data on them”.
Meanwhile, ZeroCleare Wipeout is a virus that deletes system files and then deletes the spending. But, Mrs. Karcanaj assured that “had no data loss. Despite the high degree of solidarity and synchronization against systems and infrastructure, immediate isolation was carried out by rigorously implementing international cyber security protocols and policies, to the full assessment and analysis of the situation. Systems were verified one by one to be sure of any element before they were returned online and to functionality”.
However, authorities have provided no explanation for various paperwork and official documents that have been published in recent days online.
And today, according to the Panorama “Journal on the online page “Homeland Justice.ru” (“Director for Homeland”) has completed published mujahedin residence permits, deadline of their stay, along with personal photos, birth date, gender and location in Albania”.
Deputy Prime Minister Balluk, however, acknowledged that “is learning a lesson, we are doing a scan of all the systems, scan of the forces which are and work to protect or operate with these systems and to come up with a result, even for a profound reform of the entire sector, or in turn to build up all those cyber shields that we will need for the future”.
