US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Hovenier has met with Kosovo mufti Naim Ternava for the new Islamic Year, and together they have visited the Great Mosque in Pristina.
“Respect for religious secularism and cultural heritage is an admirable ideal in every modern and multiethnic democracy. Today, I had the honour of marking the new Islamic Year with the mufti Ternava in the Great Mosque and discussing ways in which any Kosovar can pray without discrimination, Houvenier wrote.
