As chief of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Alice Albright, along with Kosovo Economy Minister, threw firms into the country's $200m electricity deal in Kosovo.
At the ceremony held at the American Congress, attended by Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti
and Congressman and Chairman of the Chamber of Foreign Affairs Subcommittee for Europe and Asia at the White House, Bill Keating, Albright once again witnessed her mother's commitment to Kosovo.
She said the main component of investment is the preservation of large-scale batteries.
“It will increase flexibility on the country's network, reduce the cost of providing adequate electricity and, by doing so, will help support Kosovo energy security”, Albright has indicated.
In the end, she said she is eager to work with everyone, to build a bright and stable future for the people of Kosovo.
Unlike Alice Albright is chief executive of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). It provides strategic guidance and vision for the agency, helping achieve program priorities.
Albright has more than 30 years of international experience in the private, nonprofit and public sector.
She has been chief executive chief of the Global Partnership for Education Secretariat and served in Obama administration from 2009 to 2013 as executive vice president and chief chief chief of the US Export-Import Bank (EXIM).
Before EXIM, Albright held leading roles in the Global Alliance for Vaccinations and Communications (GAVI) and worked as a banker with a focus on emerging markets.
