Begaj will be sworn in at a special parliamentary session that will take place at 6:00 in the Assembly, while the presidency will be held as well as the ceremony to take office of the president.
The ceremony is expected to begin at Presidencys at 18:45 with the arrival of guest personalities, while Begaj will arrive at 19:15. Begaj will keep his word as the country's new president at 7:40, following the surrender of the Constitutional Court Speaker Vitore Tusha.
Bajram Begaj, the Socialist Party's proposal, was elected president at the June 4th 2022 parliamentary session, with 78 votes for, 4 against and 1 abstention. Begaj, former chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces, will be the country's 8th president since the proclamation of pluralism.
