“5 masked and armed men attacked us”, family confession that was attacked at the border with Serbia

Vehbi Beqiri is one of the citizens who was attacked tonight while traveling to Zvecan, where tensions have increased following the Kosovo government's decision to reciprocity for Serbian documents.

RTV Mayor Dukaagjini has indicated he was in the car with his wife and daughter when they were attacked by five masked men.

He has confessed, saying he has seen many civilians but also police in uniform.

I was very concerned that as a witness to that part today, my family and I were in the village of Kostov, and I started going to Mitrovica, somewhere around 6:00, but unfortunately, although I've experienced a lot of difficult times, in my life, this was an unprecedented thing today, since before I got close to the village of Rudare, at the entrance of Zvecan, I was with the family, there was the dead road, there were many civilians, but also with uniform, the bloc and they didn't allow the car to pass the country, he said.

On the other hand, Beqiri has shown how the attack happened.

I went back looking at the situation, back from the village of Rudare, and tried to get on the road from Zvecan, on the right. At that moment, men in uniforms, armed, masked, the five were in disguise, I was with my daughter and wife, I tried to continue on that road, but they blocked it, and it took me to return and continue, towards the municipality of Leposaviqi”, he said.
