The agreement was signed by Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli and MCC Chief Executive Alice Albright.
Congressman and Chairman of the Chamber of Foreign Affairs Subcommittee for Europe and Asia at the White House, Bill Keating, has welcomed and supports the agreement that will be signed today between Kosovo and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
He, at the pre-signing ceremony, has said that Kosovo is one of the friendly states of the United States of America for years.
“There was a good team that worked and calls it before the partnership for this deal, I'm proud you've reached this point. We are here where commitment is shown to our partners like Kosovo, but also the Western Balkans”.
Kosovo and US's <x0); friendship exists even before. Kosovo has been an integral friend of the United States, we will continue to grow that pebble. Kosovo is one of the most powerful and staunchly friendly states of the United States”, Keating said.
He has added that today's deal will be profitable even for Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
