Protest held before the Kosovo Assembly, by KLA veterans has also prompted the EU office in Kosovo to react.
Through a Twitter post of the European Union Office in Kosovo, it is said the right to peaceful gathering is guaranteed by law.
The EU office has called for all protesters to have co-operation with police to remain calm.
The right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed with international law and Kosovo laws. Recognising the right to protest, we call on all protesters to refrain from any form of violence and to co-operate with the police to maintain public order by listening to their voice”, the EU office's post says.
