Zelenska indicated yesterday that she is unable to meet her husband, President Voldymyr Zelensky, for a long time and said that “is not normal” that children can only talk to their father on the phone.
The couple had refused to leave Ukraine when Russian troops had broken the border on February 24th and insisted on staying in Kiev to lead an exemplary fight against war, gaining worldly sympathy for the challenge of Russian despot Vladimir Putin.
This is not normal. It's not a normal relationship when kids can't see their father and talk to him on the phone. So our relationship is on break as it is for all Ukrainians”, she said in an interview for CNN.
“We are waiting to be reunited, to be together again, to spend united evenings, to talk to children about their things”
Zelenska said she is now allowed to meet her husband, but only briefly for security reasons. /Periscopi/
