Ukraine, Moldova receive EU candidate status

Ukraine and Moldova have been accepted membership candidate status in the European Union, European Council President Charles Michel announced. Ukrainian President Wolfymyr Zelensky reacted to this. He said he is grateful for the decision, as well as considered the historic moment for Ukrainians.
