The report says that the number of dead and injured may increase, even though the first details of the train reportedly carrying some 350 passengers have not been revealed, the Associated Press records Periscope.
Four of the seven railway cars emerged from the tracks early in the morning near Tabas, reports Russian state television Iraniania. Tabas is 550 miles north of the capital of Tehra.
