Serbia's smuggling of 2 thousand-400 litres of alcohol is prevented

Two thousand and 400 liters of ethic alcohol have been confiscated from Customs in northern Mitrovica. Thus has been prevented from smuggling this amount of alcohol, which amounts to 4 thousand euros. The Kosovo Customs Anti-Antics Unit in co-operation and support of the Kosovo Police has prevented smuggling 4000 liters of ethic alcohol. Following the identification of an alleged transport vehicle, which was travelling from North Mitrovica, the Customs units in co-operation with the Kosovo Police have organised the ban and control of this vehicle”.
After the ban and control of the vehicle, it has been encountered in smuggled goods from Serbia, 96% in quantity, respectively. The value of the goods is estimated to be 4300 euros, while customs taxes are worth 14,300.00 Euros. The goods and vehicles have been confiscated until the prosecution initiated the” investigation proceedings.
