Scholz: There is no return to pre-war relations with Russia

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said today there can be no return to pre-war relations with Russia.

He said at the G7 summit that Russia has violated all rules, all agreements made for co-operation by attacking Ukraine.

Scholz said G7 leaders agreed that this had led to long-term changes, which would mark a very long period in international relations.

It is clear that in relations with Russia there can be no timely return before the attack on Ukraine”, he said.
