And this power story from Putin's navy has drawn close to the Albanian coast. Italian analysts write that one of Russia's most powerful marine units -- namely, the battleship “Varyag” -- has crossed into the Ionian Sea near Poulias, writes the medium “A2”.
Meanwhile, the second largest Russian warship, after “Moskvas” killed in Ukraine, is headed for the Adriatic.
There is also the American battleship “Harry Truman”, which will remain as part of the US commitment to secure allies in the region as long as the war in Ukraine continues. /A2
