Police spokesman for the Pristina region, Agron Borovci, has said that today around 04:30 a car with three persons, two of which are foreign citizens.
Borovci said that while the necessary police-friendly actions have been carried out, the same have been set free to continue further.
“related to claims of any religious activity, except for the liturgy of the Orthodox Church that is continuing to be held in the village of Bardosh of the Pristina municipality, we do not have any other announced activity. This activity has been warned and, as far as police are concerned, is monitoring the event to facilitate its normal flow of”, Borovci has said further.
Meanwhile, parisher Stanisa Arsiq of the Orthodox Church in Kosovo has said that Kosovo police prevented them from carrying out liturgy at the Church of Savior at Pristina University campus.
“Today about five and a half o'clock, the clergy from the Church of St. Nicholas are on their way to serve Holy liturgy on the occasion of Savior's Day at the Church of Christ Savior in Pristina, but a policeman forbade us to unlock the church, near us was an eight-police cord, while on the other side we noticed two other cars with police to prevent us from keeping our past” liturgy, Stanisa told Kosovo-Oline.
He said priests and believers were forced to return to St. Nicholas's church after police intervention.
