A person died in Prizren as a result of the lightning strike.
The case has also been confirmed by Kosovo Police, who have indicated that the victim was 55 years old.
“Yes, I can confirm that the event occurred around five o'clock in the village of Petrova in Prizren. The victim, born in 1967, was with a tractor working the land, as it was struck by lightning. Family has taken him to the hospital, but even in spite of medical efforts, he has failed to survive”, police say.
At the order of the prosecutor, the body of the victim was sent to the IML for production.
