PDK after the current decision: Politically influenced and at the expense of citizens, we will send him to Constitutional

The Supreme Court's decision to annul two rulings by the Constitutional and Appeals courts, which had considered increasing the price of illegal energy, is at the expense of citizens and politically influenced.

So said Kosovo Democratic Party of Kosovo spokesman Faton Abdullah and lawyer Faton Fetah at a Media Conference today.

The two courts have agreed that this increase has been done, even contrary to the law, and that the already absent attempt for Kosovo's citizen to be protected by the expensive electricity. We strongly oppose this Supreme Court ruling, viewing it as a politically influenced decision by the current government. The Supreme Court appears to have been susceptible to other tribal, cardierist and particularly political interests. ”, Abdullah said.

According to the PDK spokesman, had it not been influenced, it would have decided just as it would have directed norms and laws to power, and as the Constitutional Court and Court of Appeals have already decided.

Furthermore, he has added that the Democratic Party of Kosovo will continue its commitment about this topic to bring justice to Kosovo citizens.

Meanwhile, lawyer Faton Fetah has said it is an unprecedented decision in the judicial decision-making of the Kosovo system.

It's a condition that the Supreme Court recognises three conditions before a verdict, and it hasn't. One of these conditions is the assessment of whether that decision is against civic interest. Thus, the Court has not done its job in accordance with the law, contradicting certain principles of the Constitutional Court. Furthermore, he has announced that the Democratic Party of Kosovo will now submit this decision to interpretation at the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
