Ngaman Jasharaj not optimistic for PISAH: I hope we get a little bit out of that position.

Education experts are praising that it is difficult to get positive results this year too on the international test known as P ISA. They require institutional co-ordination, inspection and continued assessment of teachers. Chairman of the United Education, Science and Culture Union ( SBASAK), Nundman Jasharaj, hopes Kosovo will rank to a higher position, though it does not expect major moves.
Jasharaj called for no offense against individuals, but to compromise on the level of education.
We must be honest with ourselves. We can't wait where to know what, any big moves from those two P tests. ISA others. But I wish we could move a little bit from that very low-level position and wish for some countries to move forward. But what I wish was done except the test results. P Whether we now have one week's campaign, insult, reproach against individuals, but sit down together to see that something is wrong and jointly find out where the weak spot is in education so that we can go before”, Jasharaj said.
He even added that they are insisting that education workers be monitored, according to him, so that the state can strengthen the inspectors' department.
“We are insisting that education workers be closely monitored so that the state strengthens the department of inspectors to take them to class so that they can be seen how Kosovo teachers are working. I'm not saying we have perfect teachers. Most are engaged, but they deserve to be consulted and supported by professional people and they are inspectors”.
Even the Executive Director of the Institute “EdGard”, Youth Qehaja, has said it is hard to expect better results than in past years for the PISA test.
On the other hand, Qehaja stressed that at least these results should be distributed for the reflection of institutions for quality improvement in education.
“We have wrapped up testing students for P ISA for this year and in the hope that the same students have offered us a good performance this year in contrast to previous tests. What everyone is aware of is, because of the shortcomings of the educational system, because of the memorized teaching methodology. It is hard to expect or think of any better outcome than in previous years. We believe there can't be any better runs or deployments on PISA” test.
We hope that at least these results will spread for reflection in institutions for the need for quality improvement in education. It's very interesting for us to have a review of the curriculum. For our teachers to support the application of the curriculum with competence. So that the professor can be instructed in powers rather than in mechanical learning. So there are these differences among all of them, which would naturally bring us a better result at PISA CHA improvement in PISA, not to itself, but to improve the quality of education as responsibility to our students”, Qehaja said.
According to him, what's necessary to happen is to install continued evaluation mechanisms and teacher performance management, EO reports.
All of them, including the central and local institutions, and the school institution itself must increase accountability, and offer quality teaching as responsibility to students first. The teacher's assessment is defined with the current legislation, but unfortunately we still don't have any actual assessment of teachers”.
“What's necessary to happen is to install the evaluation mechanisms and the continued performance of teachers, so it doesn't serve to improve the situation to a performance assessment once every five years, but we need accountability for teaching that is offered”, he said.
