National Theatre Closes for Renovation

The Kosovo National Theatre's Steering Council has indicated that the Kosovo National Theatre has closed for renovation.

According to the announcement, the reason for this is the poor physical state of the object now and for how long.

“The actual security situation in which Kosovo National Theatre workers work is alarming, and this makes the requirement for even more urgent renovation. Also, we announce that the overall artistic activity of the Kosovo National Theatre has not stopped and will not stop”, the announcement said.

In turn, they announced that the Kosovo National Theatre has also drafted the work and action plan during the renovation period and in close co-operation and intensified with the MKRS is working on securing and adapting alternative spaces where it will develop its activity.
