Through the announcement the company has said it will contact the owners of cars that own them from the 2004 production year until 2015.
The attached series are ML, GLE, and series R.
“On several machines the function of the brake reinforcer could be affected by advanced corruption. It is possible that a particularly strong or strong maneuver preventing from causing mechanical damage to the brake reinforcer”, says the German car giant's announcement.
These cars will identify the eventual problems and replace parts, if necessary, writes the German newspaper Stern.de
