In the response of the LDK, the selection of members of the UP's Steering Council was reportedly done by party-clikenist criteria, rather than academic, as well as by a total gender imbalance.
According to them, this influence is being done by the ruling party, putting pressure on senators and organisations close to the ruling party.

That influence has been done by the ruling party through the exercise of pressure on senators and student organisations close to the ruling party, which has helped an opposing interpretation that has taken the term of senators from the student ranks, of what was the disappointment and protest before the UP/UP reactor”, said in the LDK's reaction.
On the other hand, the LDK calls power influence harmful in higher education as they sought exemption from party influence in UP.
The new members of the UPI Steering Council, which received votes in the third round, are: Selim Bezeraj, Rifat Krasniqi, Azem Hajdari, Arrian Krasniqi and Naser Kabashi.
