LDK insists on lifting excise and TVS for oil derivatives

Over 400m euros per year are inflows to the state budget from excises and toll taxes added to the derivative. But the opposition is asking the Government to give up some of these revenues.

LDK MP Rzazarta Krasniqi has told Online Economy that they have demanded that a 6-cent excise take place in two cents.

“We requested the removal of excise and T VSH's. The government has not considered our demands as LDK. Of course the accyse has to be removed because citizens pay six cents more and we've just paid 2 cents, it means halve the excise for oil”, she said.

And two other opposition parties, PDK and AAK have called for reduction, the removal of excise and T respectively V S for derivatives and other essential products.
