Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon, reaching the EU foreign ministers' meeting in Luxembourg today, stressed that the Western Balkans should not be forgotten when Ukraine is granted EU membership candidate status.
Fajon has also spoken about Kosovo, where he added that visas are liberalised, writes visuals.
“Anyway, we have to do everything to make enlargement policy credible, which means we should not forget the expansion in the Western Balkans”, Fajon has indicated.
Keeping in mind that the enlargement process itself may be in question, we support all EU efforts to start negotiations on northern Macedonia and Albania for abolishing visas for Kosovo and granting BiH candidate status”, the foreign minister added.
The meeting between EU foreign ministers will be held during tomorrow.
