Today Kosovo-Serbia meeting in Brussels, will have energy agreements

Meetings within dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia will be held in Brussels today. This meeting will be at the chief negotiator level between Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and Serbia's delegation chief Petar Petkovovic, while in turn the energy agreement is in turn. Preparations will also be made for an appointment [...]
Also, preparations will be made for a summit with Prime Minister Kurti and Serbian President Vuciq.
EU special envoy Miroslav Lajcak will be host to another round of meetings within dialogue at the level of chief negotiators. The meeting will focus on finalising a guide who will help implement the 2013 and 2015 Energy Agreement, as well as on other issues, including preparations for the upcoming” summit, said Peter Stano, EU spokesman for foreign policy and security.
Weeks ago, both sides have said they have approached positions on energy with Serbian President Vuciq, who has said there have been talks with the KED company.
However, Kurti explained on Saturday what has been discussed between the Serbian side and the Turkish company KED.
“Set up energy meters, maintain measurements, billing and indices, and we have fulfilled this obligation and that refers to meetings between KEDS and the Serbian side. So in this respect alone they've talked. There will be no additional service in the area of distribution beyond these four services that I mentioned and beyond four municipalities north of the Republic of Kosovo. So in this respect they talked KEDS with the Serbian side. This happened on June 9,”, Kurti said.
However, he did not want to stop at this agreement any longer, since he said the process should not be damaged.
The following “Days are crucial to whether to finalize the agreement on the energy guide's implementation initiative, so we need to be very careful that neither guessfully, nor half true or quarter, not to damage the process in the coming days, because they are looking for excuses to flee or deviate from the agreement we are close to, as never before, Kurti added.
As for the Energy Agreement, diplomats say it is about the same agreement that was reached in 2013, it was confirmed in 2015, while now the parties will only agree on its implementation plan. The EU is also expected to have the role of facilitator in implementing this agreement. / KP/
