A theatre in Ukraine's capital has been reopened for the first time since Russia invaded the country and tickets were sold for Sunday's show.
The theatre at Podil was the latest cultural institution in Kiev to resume its operation, writes Aljazeera, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.
Cinemas and National Opera opened their doors in late May.
“We were wondering what it would be like to have spectators come during the war, if they think of the theatre at all, if it's of any interest,” said one of the actors, Yuri Felipenko.
And we were happy that the first three performances were sold out. ”
Filipenko said the theatre is performing with only a few actors.
