So stated American geopolitical connoisseur Edward P. Joseph added that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and that Bosniak presidency, Milorad Dodik, continue to remain ready to destabilise the region.

“Vladimir Putin to take advantage of problems in the Balkans does not need to wage a new war. Vladimir Putin benefits in the Balkans even by maintaining the same situation. Keeping these tensions on the rise, trying to create new tensions. But it doesn't have to be a war. It should not be a new war, for example in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for it to benefit. As long as the situation remains such, confidence in this region, the US and the European Union declines. Support for the European Union falls. He can use this as an example, in his eyes, of a failed project, of a failed European Union, just as he is trying to use and demonstrate in Ukraine. And besides it benefits by keeping this region this way”, analyst Joseph told The Geopost.

He in an interview for this media stresses that Vuciq, especially, is Putin's ally and works with the same agenda.

He has an ally who helps him carry out the agenda and that ally is in Serbia, he is President Aleksandar Vuciq, who has demonstrated it, even before the invasion. But now we see the Russian invasion clearly, that he is Vladimir Putin's partner in the same agenda of maintaining this divided region and trying to divide Europe”, he points out.

For analyst Joseph, the Serbian president will be the main beneficiary of possible destabilisation in the region, prompting Dodik to do so.

“Lo is not that Vuciq will push Dodik into trouble. It's that Vuciq takes advantage of this potential destabilisation. So that's how the game goes because people are afraid Dodik will start something because he has Russian support that the US and the EU should then address Belgrade, should they address Aleksandar Vucciki and say you will help us control Dodik? And this is a game. This is what we call a missile in the United States, is a” fraud, Joseph says.

According to him, the idea of the Serbian “Bota” is a threat to Montenegro's sovereignty and an obstacle to Kosovo's moving away.

Aleksandar Vuciq's “is proposing exactly the strategy Dodik implements. He claims to respect Bosniak sovereignty, meanwhile, speaks of the Serbian world and delivers our Serbian world policy, violating Montenegro's sovereignty and also preventing Kosovo from moving forward, blocking Kosovo in all international organisations. So Aleksandar Vuciq performs a similar agenda. He does not have to have a new war, and Putin does not need a new war in this region in order to benefit from keeping him unstable. But the stable quo status is also useful for Moscow, as is the exacerbating”, he concludes.

In this interview, Joseph has also talked about dialogue between Kosovo and Pristina and Putin's possibility with the “one Putin”.
