Vetevendosje Movement MP Hidjat Hyseni planned a long speech for July 2nd 1990, when the then Kosovo Assembly delegates adopted the Constitutional Declaration, with which Kosovo was declared a separate entity within the then Yugoslav federation.
With many letters in his hand, Hysen's speech did not last as long as expected, since Chief Prime Minister Glauk Konjufca did not decide to do so twice.
Hyseni spent his time sharing his word, while for the first time Conjufca ordered his word to continue.
“Straggs of chauvinist and anti-Albanian policy had in vain calculated that following the pressure and resistance measures by violence, massiastic imprisonment and genocide terror, with divisions, divisions and a broadness could subject the elite to representatives and population to logic: If the orphan child complains about you looking for cheese, he has medicine. Take his bread, and the fatherless child forgets his bread”, saying Hyseni, among other things.
Time passed again. Conjufca s away went on.
“Z. Hyseni, could you... You mean too long? Yes, freely hand him in writing. Thank you very much. You can even write the word... It was also a tribute to this momentous event, July 2,”, Conjufca told him.
MP Hidajet Hyseni agreed and left the Parliament's village.
