Officials at Russia's Rostov region of oil refinery “Novoshakhtinsk”, said the first fears attacked at 8:40 am, hitting a raw disposal unit, causing an explosion and a ball of fire.
The second attack, at 9:23 a.m., targeted crude oil reservoirs at the refinery, the largest supplier of oil products in southern Russia, but caused no fire, and according to factory management, no injuries were reported.
Russian regions bordering Ukraine have reported attacks and bombings after Moscow sent its troops to the neighbouring country on February 24th, for what it still calls a special military “8x1>.
Refinery is in southwestern Russia, just 8km from the Ukrainian border.
