Former acting director of National Intelligence in the US, Richard Green, is scheduled to speak in Iowa this week, amid earlier speculation that he is being counted as one of the possibilities for 2024 vice presidential post for former President Donald Trump.
Grenelli is scheduled to speak Wednesday in front of the Western Conservative Club in Urbandal Iowa, the group said on their Facebook page.
On Twitter Grenelli wrote that he will also address Dallas County on Thursday and that he will speak of Donald Trump's first “strategy.
Trump did not say whether he would run for US president in 2024, but his standard response when asked was that his supporters would be the very happy “” with his decision.
In a November article on potential candidates, Politico.com reported that Green “is also arrived in assessment of the internal people of Trump”.
“Trump loves Ric and unlike [Mike] Pompeii or anyone else, he has no interest in running for president. This is a big issue for Trump,” told Politico a Trump adviser.
