Financial Intelligence Unit Director Competition Canceled

Kosovo's “Competition for Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit, announced on October 07th 2021, has been cancelled by the Minister of Finance, Labour and Transfers on the basis of the Commission's recommendations for considering apps and interviewing candidates for this position”, the decision reported, reports “The Justice Trust”.

Under the decision, the selection process was developed with the examination of apps and interviewing of candidates who have met formal criteria. However, after the interviewing phase, the Commission for Apps Review and the interviewing of candidates has recommended canceling the contest, since none of the candidates have managed to pass the value threshold required for this position.

Otherwise, on the basis of an announcement published on the MPPT website of April 20, 2022, the narrow list of candidates who had met the criteria to continue the further recruiting procedure for the head of the Financial Intelligence Unit are: Fetah Zamenoullah, Behar Xhema, Eddi-Daci Asshtica, Blerim Rudi, Mentor Ferizi, Adriana Bakija, Safija Beseni, Luan Hoti, and Bujar Sadiku
