Even festival “Beerfest Kosova”, cause location

Full announcement:

The previous “Beerfest Kosova” festival will be held on June 24th to 26th, forced to cancel the festival, because the festival is not allowed to be held at the previous location.

At a meeting with Pristina municipality officials, directors of relevant directors and Kosovo Police that were held in the afternoon on June 13th, the decision was announced by the Kosovo Police that this festival will not be allowed to be held at the designated location (Parking, behind the Youth Palace in Pristina), with the reasoning that this location does not meet the conditions for this organisation.

Our official requests for permission and relevant consent to holding this festival in the Czech location were made early March. Until our joint meeting, we have no answers, despite our insistence, thus holding us hostage for location.

For us as an organizer, this is a very harmful, late, and unreasonable decision.

At the same location we've held the last 4 editions and we think that the location is appropriate for this festival and similar activities.

Either way, we're too late for any other choice, so we're forced to cancel the festival's holding on these dates at the previous location.

Beerfest Kosovo and MODUS, as host of the festival, is now in search of a new suitable location and definition of new dates.
