Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca, at the weekend, has stayed at The Hague's detention centre to visit former KLA superiors who are being held there as war crimes indictees. Konjufca has also met former President Hashim Thaci and former PDK head Kadri Wessel on Sunday. He made no announcement on how the meeting went with them.
Konjufca Chief of Staff Ilir Krkeli said on Saturday they have met Jakup Krasniqi, Peter Shala and Rexhep Selimi, and tomorrow they have the meeting scheduled for Thaci and Wessel.
But for the meeting with the two former KLA leaders, Konjufca sé has made no post.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Konjufca, returned to Pristina yesterday from his visit to the Specialised Chambers.
Konjufca has been the first senior Kosovo official to visit the detainees and specials.
Several weeks ago Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu visited The Hague, but he was hosted by Thaci and Wessel.
